Pre-Fab Fireplace

Pre-fabricated (also known as zero clearance) fireplace systems are very common in our county. These fireplaces are appliances and like all appliances, have a limited lifespan. If you have an older pre-fab fireplace, it’s possible that parts are unavailable. For safety, we cannot “mix and match” parts from one manufacturer to another or add any fabricated parts that are not the original manufacturer’s design, so it is important to continue proper maintenance.

Updating Your Pre-Fab Fireplace

Typically pre-fab fireplaces are not a good source of heat; they were designed to be more appealing to the eye than anything else. Don’t despair though, if you would like to convert your pre-fab fireplace to a heat source we have solutions for you! Often, we are able to install an efficient & beautiful gas burning insert inside your pre-fab fireplace.
